Position Title: Analytical Chemist
Wage: $17.00 per hour
Shift: 1st
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Analytical Chemist at a manufacturing company in Rockford, IL. This is a direct hire position!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Perform analytical testing on raw materials, finished products and environmental samples using wet chemistry and instrumental techniques (HPLC, UV, GC, FTIR, etc.) using computerized laboratory equipment.
• The generation and documentation of accurate and precise records for all analytical procedures performed.
• Ensure all laboratory analysis is carried out in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
• Routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting for analytical equipment.
• IQ/OQ/PQ of laboratory equipment.
Requirements include:
• Must have BS degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of analytical laboratory experience preferred.
• Previous experience in current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and Good Laboratory Practices desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills and an attention to detail are essential.
